Live@Troon Futures Launched

One of the aims of Live@Troon is to bring more Live Music into Troon throughout the year and the first sign of this kicks off on Friday 6th of March with the first ever Live@Troon Futures gig.

The Harbour Bar in Troon will play host to the first of a series of monthly gigs on the First Friday of every month in venues and pubs that support the Live@Troon weekend.

It's a free gig and early entry is recommended. Two acts confirmed are The Ranzas and Orthodox both playing acoustic sets; replacement third band to be confirmed. Support Live Music in Troon and come along to the Harbour Bar this Friday 6th March.

Orthodox are a 4 piece, Alternative Rock band from Ayr situated on the South West Coast of Scotland. The messing around soon disappeared and the band came under the name Vortex for a full year until the name was changed to Orthodox in 2011.

The Ranzas are an Ayrshire based indi rock band formerly known as The Shires and play a broad range of music with the singer "having a Paulo Nutini tone and accent."
